Discover Whitewater

Whitewater is a non-profit with a mission to facilitate access to the outdoors by lowering barriers and inspiring people to get outside. As a part of this mission to get people outside, Whitewater provides recreational facilities, accommodations, instruction, equipment, events and films at the following locations:

Whitewater Center, a 1,300-acre outdoor center on the Catawba River in Charlotte, NC

Big Creek Lodge, in the Pisgah National Forest between Brevard and Asheville, NC

Middleburg, a 323-acre National Historic Landmark on the Cooper River near Charleston, SC

Windfall, a 215-acre mountain escape on the border of the Virginia and North Carolina mountains
