Tiny Trekkers

A camp designed for younger generations to experience outdoor play throughout the 1,300 acres of woods, creeks, and other recreational elements of the Whitewater Center.

Adventure Camp

Whitewater’s most popular camp, Adventure Camp, is a week’s worth of Whitewater Center activities. Campers participate in whitewater rafting and zip-lining as well as more traditional camp programs such as scavenger hunts and field games across the 1,300-acre campus.

Nature Explorers

STEAM CAMP

STEAM Camp blends educational experiences and outdoor activities. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) Camp fosters curiosity, adventure, and experimentation through blending educational experiences with outdoor activities throughout the week.

Survival Camp

Campers build wilderness and backcountry skills, including shelter construction, wilderness first-aid, fire building, and map/compass navigation. Campers will also participate in select activities such as rafting and ropes courses. This camp includes one overnight stay at the Whitewater Center.

Will campers need to purchase an annual or day pass?

No, campers will not need to purchase any annual or day passes to participate in summer camps.

Will campers need to have any prior experience in any of the activities/programming?

No, our instructors will meet campers where they are, whether the camper is a total beginner or has high experience in the activities.

Will campers be forced to participate in every activity?

No, your child will not be forced to participate in any activity. Whitewater follows the “Challenge by Choice” principle. Campers will be strongly encouraged to try all activities, but the level of participation will be decided solely by the camper.
