Whitewater Races and Events
Whitewater hosts events and programs built around the extraordinary Lowcountry playground. The Francis Marion National Forest and the Cooper River are ideal locations for the bike and trail running events along with instruction programs and historical and wildlife viewing events at Middleburg. The programming calendar offers new opportunities to join Whitewater to experience the truly special Middleburg experience.
Races and Competitions
Whitewater produces over 80 races and competitions every year across the Southeast. Middleburg offers a unique palate for a new series of races across multiple disciplines. The Lowcountry with its endless trails and gravel roads running through the swamps and forests is the perfect medium for running and biking events of many types. Many of the Whitewater events involve longer distances that connect to Middleburg as a part of the event. Other events take place entirely on Middleburg’s 323 acres. Whitewater’s goal is to inspire competitors to lace up and push themselves into these beautiful places and challenging events. The end goal is to get through the suffering and experience the growth associated with getting out of our comfort zones.

In addition to Yoga and other mind-body-spirit programming, the calendar also includes nature based programming such as the fire-fly viewing and culinary combined with outdoor recreation events. Whitewater hopes to inspire guests to come to Middleburg to experience the exceptional beauty and history offered at Middleburg.
