Design a prototype of one of our obstacle courses. Students will understand how various shapes can be combined to create simple machines.

Students will use parallel and perpendicular physics to build a Da Vinci Bridge. Then they’ll add weight to see how their bridges hold up under stress.

Experience the ecology of the Whitewater Center with a guided hike on the trail network. Students will explore our native plants and wildlife, how they depend on each other, and what they need to survive.

Investigate the impacts humans have on the planet through inquiry and experimentation. Students will learn about the natural world around them and how to make a positive impact on the environment.

Students engage in problem solving and skill development by utilizing Whitewater’s Team Development Center.

Students will break out into groups and complete various tasks relating to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. They’ll move through eight stations and complete as many tasks as possible within the designated time.

Learn about the physics behind zip lining including how factors such as gravity, friction, and change in mass affect the motion of an object. Students will use engineering principles to design and test their own mini zip line made from everyday items and test their newfound zipline engineering skills.
