Climbing Instruction – Belay Class

Age 14+ years 2 hours, including instruction and practice time $20/person (includes Belay Test)
Tuesdays at 1:00pm
Fridays at 6:00pm
Learn the basics of climbing in this introductory class. Participants will learn the proper gear needed for climbing, how to minimize risk, basic climbing terminology, basic climbing etiquette and USNWC policies, and the proper belay technique.
Clothing requirements
Closed toed shoes are required
Note
The Belay Test may not be taken on the same day as the Belay Class

Intro to Lead Climbing

Age 14+ years 2 hours $30/person
Tuesdays at 10:00 am
This class is the perfect way to take your climbing skills to the next level. Our professional climbing guides will teach you the basics of lead climbing/belaying, including proper gear, clipping, falling, and safety.
Prerequisites
Participants must be belay-qualified and able to climb a 5.9 comfortably
Clothing requirements
Closed toed shoes are required

Climbing Private Lessons

2 hours $40/person
Improve your climbing abilities with a one-on-one lesson from one of our professional climbing guides. During your private lesson, instruction will be based on the participant’s skill level.
