The Mills River Valley of Pisgah National Forest offers an ideal setting for quaint outdoor weddings and small special events. The Lodge and two adjoining 3-acre fields bordered by the Rocky Fork and North Mills River offer outdoor and indoor venues for customized events and programming. The Asheville airport and I-40 are 10 miles away, and the towns of Brevard and Asheville are less than 30 minutes by car. The Lodge is an ideal setting for family and private group events.
Whitewater Races and Events
Whitewater hosts events and programs built around the extraordinary natural resources on the front steps of Big Creek Lodge. Bike and trail running events from short distance to multi-day relays are routinely mixed in with instruction programs built around fly-fishing and kayaking. Big Creek is centrally located in Western North Carolina’s outdoor playground, and the calendar is filled with opportunities to join Whitewater to experience this special place.
