Fourth of July Celebration

Celebrate the holiday outside at the Whitewater Center. The festivities span over two days with live music, a Saturday trail race, multiple yoga practices and more.

Green River Revival

Kick-off the spring season with Green River Revival. Watch as the Whitewater Center’s resident leprechaun transforms the river green for St Patrick’s Day. Start the day with the Color Me Green 5K Trail Run before rafting down the river and listening to live music.

Memorial Day Celebration

Start the weekend with a Saturday morning 3, 5 or 8 mile race through the Whitewater Center’s trail system. Explore pass activities and yoga all weekend long before enjoying live music from the River Jam Stage.

Film Series: Reel Rock 19

Reel Rock 19 showcases three world-premiere climbing films spanning disciplines, characters, and continents: a heartfelt story of second chances in love and climbing on Squamish’s legendary Cobra Crack; an outrageous 18-day big wall epic on Patagonia’s towering Torre Central; and the pursuit of a lifelong dream—a 5.15 first ascent—made possible by an unlikely partnership.

DEATH OF VILLAINS: A former child climbing-prodigy confronts his struggle with disordered eating to attempt his life-long dream of climbing a groundbreaking 5.15 first ascent, with the help of an unlikely, and controversial partner. Featuring: Kai Lightner & Joe Kinder

RIDERS ON THE STORM: Three Belgian big-wallers endure eighteen days of howling snowstorms, frozen feet, and gnarly runouts in their attempt to make a long-coveted alpine first ascent. Featuring: Siebe Vanhee, Sean Villanueva O’Driscoll & Nico Favresse

THE COBRA & THE HEART: A turbulent 20-year saga of love, loss, and redemption: a whirlwind romance, a crushing defeat on a legendary climb, a religious epiphany, and family betrayal, all building to a desperate bid for a rare second chance—at love, fatherhood, and climbing. Featuring: Didier Berthod, Thomasina Pidgeon & Cedar Pidgeon

Zipline & Dine

Traverse through the trees before enjoying a three course dinner at River’s Edge.

Double Down offers the most expansive view of the Center and includes the two longest zips stretching over the canopy. Guests will spend 1-hour on the zipline prior to the dining experience.

Craft and Curl

Cask Curling is one of Whitewater’s newest activities on ice. Two teams of two go head-to-head in a shuffleboard style competition, sliding mini-kegs across the ice to score points. Craft and Curl pairs the activity with a three-course dinner.

Paddle to Table

Enjoy a guided flatwater paddle on the Catawba River followed by a unique dining experience in the outdoors. Choose between a flatwater kayak or stand-up paddleboard and enjoy a sunset paddle before a chef-curated dinner at the Ridge Pavilion.

Skate and Date

Experience the Whitewater Center’s one-of-a-kind ice skating complex before heading to River’s Edge to enjoy a chef-curated three-course meal.
